Sukha Turning toward the Pleasant, Joyfulness, the Beautiful in our lives

We are very pleased to invite you to this Sunday morning mini-retreat it will be led by mindfulness teachers Monica Antunes and Mira Schneiders.
We will be exploring the theme of 'Sukha - turning towards the pleasant', using a range of sitting, walking and gentle movement meditation practices.
The retreat will be offered by donation of minimum 20 CHF All donations are to support those effected by the Earthquake and given to the AHBAP Association: https://ahbap.org/

Monica Antunes Meditation Teacher
Monicahas been practicing Buddhist meditation in Burma and the West since 2008. She was invited to teach in 2017 under the guidance of Guy Armstrong and teaches in the US, in Europe and in Africa. She is training in NeuroSystemics, a bio-psychosocial approach to individual, group and community resilience. Monica was born and raised in Mozambique.
Mira Schneiders Meditation Teacher and Global Health Researcher Mira was first introduced to mindfulness in 2015 during an 8-week MBSR course with Bianca King, while working at WHO in Geneva. Finding that mindfulness practice had an enormously beneficial impact on her life and wellbeing, she has been practicing secular and Buddhist meditation since. Mira felt inspired to spread the benefits of mindfulness further, which led her to train as a MBCT teacher at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre in 2019. Since then, she has been teaching 8-week mindfulness courses and drop-in sessions to university students, doctors, and the general public. Mira has a background in Psychology, a doctorate in Population Health and works as a public health researcher at Oxford University.
